Review Policy

Majority of my blog posts would most probably be composed of reviews for books, movies, TV series, products and food. But actual scores will only be given to two of my favorite past time which are books and movies.

For book reviews:

I read any genre as long as the synopsis is interesting. Mostly they are comprised of: young-adult, fantasy, dystopian, mystery, and romance. Rating system would be as follows:

5 star – I loved the book from beginning to end. I read this in one sitting and only took breaks to eat or go to the restroom. The setting, characters, and plot are well thought out. The writing was very vivid that you would feel a roller coaster of emotions. This is definitely part of my favorite list and I can see myself reading this not just once. Highly recommended to fellow readers and should be optioned for film.

4 star – I loved the book for a lot of parts. I finished reading it after a day or two. The setting, characters, and plot worked well together. It was well written but it may have its low points. It still made it to my favorite list and I may read it again but after a while. Recommendable and can be optioned for film.

3 star – It was okay. May have took a while for me to finish. The setting, characters, and plot was okay. The writing was okay. Not part of my favorite list though and not sure if I will read it again. Will only recommend it to those who may like it.

2 star – I read this to pass time and it took effort to finish. Everything about it just seems off. Definitely not going to be my favorite and I will not read it again. I don’t want to recommend this to anyone.

1 star – I will forever ask myself why I even read this. I literally had to force myself to finish this. I wonder why they even published this. Everything about it is just wrong. This is definitely part of my most despised list and will never ever read it nor lay a hand on it again. I’d rather shoot myself than mention to anyone that I read this.

For movie reviews:

Same as books, I watch any genre as long as the trailer is interesting. Mostly they are comprised of: young-adult, romance, fantasy, dystopian, suspense, action, biography, and my all-time favorite, horror. Rating system would be as follows:

5 star – I loved every minute of it. Literally can’t take my eyes off the screen and I will hold my pee if I have to. The storyline was well thought out. The execution and effects was pleasing to the eyes. I can definitely see myself watching this over and over again. This definitely made it to my favorite list and is highly recommended.

4 star – I loved most of the scenes. Eating while watching is permitted. The storyline, execution, and effects are all good. I will watch it again when I feel like it. Also made it to my favorite list and is recommendable.

3 star – It was okay. Eating, texting and talking allowed while watching. The storyline, execution, and effects were okay. I think I’ll watch this again when I’m old and retired. Not part of my favorite list though and will only recommend this to those who I think will like it.

2 star – This was disappointing. It took all my strength not to walkout. Everything about it just seems off. I will not watch this again. Definitely not part of my favorite list and I don’t want to recommend this to anyone.

1 star – I will forever wonder what had got into me that I decided to watch this. I literally wanted to gouge my eyes off their sockets. Everything about it was just awful and I’m not sure why they even spent money to produce this. I will never ever watch this again. This definitely made it to my most despised list and I’d rather die than mention to anyone I watched this.

I am open to review requests and collaborations. So if you want to hear more of my thoughts, feel free to send me a message down below.
